Join the Movement
Through Social Theater and Social Tea gatherings, Crowns New Brunswick is creating safe, welcoming spaces where stories are shared, voices are heard and connection begins--especially for families navigating crisis.
Crowns Social Tea events use storytelling, spoken word, and shared experiences to build connection, reduce isolation, and open the door to support.
Dawna Bradley is the co-founder of Crowns New Brunswick, alongside her mother, Frances Bradley. and beloved sister Sharon Rose Bradley-Munn. What began as a deeply personal response to a family crisis has grown into a movement focused on one urgent issue: keeping children connected to their families. As a grandmother and kinship caregiver, Dawna brings lived experience to the front lines of a growing reality—children being separated from their families due to preventable circumstances. Today, her work is centered on building awareness, strengthening community response, and creating pathways that support families before separation occurs. Through Crowns NB—a movement of grandmothers and caregivers—she is helping ensure that every child has what they deserve: a home, a future, and a family that stays together.
Our Team.
We are a team shaped by lived experience.
As mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and community workers we understand firsthand the realities of family crisis, recovery, and the fight to stay together. Our work is rooted in connection, compassion, and the belief that families deserve support.
We don’t work from a place of judgment—we walk alongside families, creating space for healing, understanding, and real change.
Let's Connect
Do you have a story that lives inside you—one that deserves to be seen, heard, and honored? This space was created for stories like yours.
If you’ve ever wondered what it might look like to see your story lived out on stage, I would love to connect with you.
